Your company will also earn the Premier Google Partner or the Google Partner badge.

Certification Requirements

The certification requirements include a Google Partner badge. One of your affiliated members certified in Google Ads must have standard or standard access to your Google Ads manager account. You also need a Premier Partner badge. Two affiliated members certified in Google Ads should have standard or admin access to your Google Ads manager account.

When you have an Academy for Ads account, you will get access to the certification assessments for free. You will also be able to access resources that you can use to prepare for the assessments. You have to pass the Google Ads Fundamentals test and one of the extra advertising tests that are available via Academy for Ads. The traditional tests include Display Advertising, Shopping Advertising, Video Advertising, Mobile Advertising, and Search Advertising.

You will also need to pass the relevant product assessment to get your Google Ads product certification. In other words, you need to pass the Search Advertising test, the Display Advertising test and the Google Ads Fundamentals test to earn your Google Ads Search certification. When the required assessments expire, you have to retake them and pass. This is done to keep your Google AdWords certification valid.
